You are correct and they are very cute grandkids. I have two, ages 10 and 13.

My wife and I just have 1 son, he's 22 now. No grandkids yet.

Great photos and memories, I'd have those days again in a heartbeat. Kids that age are tons of fun.

Yes, they are treasures. I think it is our reward for surviving raising our children!

Good grandpa who is teaching them to fish.

I just want to be half the grandpa to my grandkids that I had. He was one-of-a-kind. Always patient with me, took me everywhere with him, and I know he probably spent tons of time fixing the things I "helped" him with. But even sixty years later I can see him, hear him, and feel him like it was yesterday.

Thanks for posting. I still remember my grandfather and have some of his and my great uncle's tools that I still use and my first pocket knife he gave me.

I only had one grandpa growing up. My mother's parents both died before she was 10. My grandpa lived to be 91 and I really liked to hear his stories about farming with horses and mules. He traded a set of mules for his first tractor - a John Deere B model with steel wheels. They lived a hard life but seemed to enjoy life.
