Birds of Prey Center reopens
I had some time off this week and it happily coincided with a photography day at the newly reopened Birds of Prey Center. They limit the number of people at the event and give everyone special access to photographing some of the birds. The Pup had a great time and got some very good shots. I was relegated to the old Canon and couldn't find the telephoto for it, so none of my pics made it off the cutting room floor. I'm tempted to get a new camera for myself, rather than borrow the Pup's when we are out. That would not be a viable option at an event like this one. This will not be the last time we attend.
The owls seem to make the best subjects, but I have a few others I will post later.

Great shots on both owls. Haven't seem a Barn Owl or Long-eared in many years. No Barn Owls, up here and a Long-eared would be quite a sighting.

Great photos. My wife is always looking for her next oil painting if she would have your permission to paint one.

Absolutely. I had to wait and ask her if it was OK with her. She was pleased in the interest and fine with it. PM me if you need me to send a higher resolution copy. Just curious, was there one in particular she was interested in?RanchRoper wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 10:58 amGreat photos.
