All of our horses load in the trailer easy. Most trailer loading horse problems are human in origin. Just have to be patient when they are learning.

Dakota bumped his head in the trailer years ago. He is very tall. He still remembers it every time he loads.

After 20 they are senior citizens...no more big grueling days in my opinion. Arthritis in the joints happens lots. Can still use them at a branding dragging calves, or some smaller cattle moves. Doesn't apply to cowboys though, you go 'til your are too stove up to go anymore...
