OK forget the above ..
.. just before formally placing the order I noticed the

I was thinking of getting one for my wife for Christmas too. Waffling on doing so though. She might use it to keep tabs on me.

when a friend mentioned that she might aim it at the Fridge, I had to rethink giving my wife one for that very reason

put batteries in it and took a look at the Campark Trail Camera mentioned above .... must admit that the 20MP camera really takes nice pictures .... now I'm looking forward to seeing the day and night pictures it takes when its mounted in the woods

I went with the Browning Strike Force Pro XD. Got it on sale for $159.

Has 20Mb capability, but I set it for 12Mb. Set it up pointed at the bird feeder area. Got some early morning pictures of birds and the neighbors dog coming over to take a poop. Will have to play with the shutter speed setting or use video clip mode for the birds. Birds flying in and out are blurred in the still pictures.

our son was pleased with the Trail Camera we gave him .... don't know that he's had time to set it up yet

Congrats on the new camera Mags.
Sorting through the unwanted pics and videos can be a pain.
