Couple more. Gorgeous day. I love BIG skies.

Looking west through Badger's ears toward Hillcrest. The mountain in the distance was covered with forest until 2003 when the Lost Creek fire burned it. It's starting to come back now.

A couple of oldies from 2011 on the a7 Ranch. Sorting yearlings that had just come from a feedlot. This was in April 2011 I think. Riding our late great mare Magic. She LOVED cattle work. Miss her every day.

Those are beautiful photographs. In the last photographs, I'm reminded of the fictional Quigley that Tom Selleck played. Very tall in the saddle looking.

I hope it's all right, but I am planning to use the photo of Badger grazing with the mountain on the left for my summer background computer shot. I haven't taken anything near as good yet this year.

Someone shared this photo of Dakota and I roping in the pasture last summer. Just treating cows. This was on the Waldron grazing co-op range.

That just says Cowboy all day long. Thank you for posting it.

I'm blessed to ride exceptional horses. I just try to stay out of their way and let them make me look good. :)
