I took a look at the Spypoint 11D on Amazon. 27% of the reviews 1&2 star. :(
47% of Spypoint 10 reviews 1&2 star.
Hmmm...seems like they are designed to fail, like Bic lighters.....Oh, which reminds me. I don't buy Bic lighters anymore because, in about 5 days, I'll be smoke free for 4 months! Yippeee

So I looked through these thinking under $200 for a 'Wildlife' with an over all rating of 90/100 or better and good night time quality pictures. My potential picks:

I like the Bushnell in your link ....

on the other end of the cost spectrum, I find the Campark Trail Game Camera from Amazon .... link below .... to be most impressive with it having a 4.4 out of possible 5.0 rating that is based on 2,980 ratings .... 87% of the ratings are 4 or 5 star .... with 66% being 5 star ... for $70 and knowing what we would use one for, I have to give it serious consideration

first, thanks to those who offered recommendations .... after a good bit of interesting reading and research, I've pretty much decided to go with the trail camera in the link above .... its price point of $70 and the fact its total number of 3,359 has gone up 379 since the above comment was made and it has maintained its 87% total of 4 & 5 star ratings, most certainly guided me in its direction .... a little while ago I started placing the order but have decided to hold off for another day .... if I order it right now, it will arrive while we are gone for Thanksgiving .... glad the decision has been made, looking forward to seeing how well it works

OK forget the above .. .. just before formally placing the order I noticed the Campark Trail Camera-WiFi 20MP 1296P Hunting Game Camera with Night Vision Motion Activated for Outdoor Wildlife Monitoring Waterproof IP66 ====> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XQ ... UTF8&psc=1 .... a little bit more expensive but can be checked by using his phone .... also a bit better camera .... the delivery dates fit our schedule so its been ordered .... in thinking about it, I wonder if I should order another, I'm sure my wife would be surprised if I give her one as well .... :?

I was thinking of getting one for my wife for Christmas too. Waffling on doing so though. She might use it to keep tabs on me.

I went with the Browning Strike Force Pro XD. Got it on sale for $159.
https://www.trailcampro.com/collections ... rce-pro-xd

Has 20Mb capability, but I set it for 12Mb. Set it up pointed at the bird feeder area. Got some early morning pictures of birds and the neighbors dog coming over to take a poop. Will have to play with the shutter speed setting or use video clip mode for the birds. Birds flying in and out are blurred in the still pictures.
