Here are some fall colors and shots from a recent Colorado Muzzleloader hunt. We caught the fish in the picture to the left of the fish picture. Water so clear you could see the native Cuttthroat swimming in the lake. We caught quite a few but only kept the 5. Lake was at about 10000 ft. Al

That really is a beautiful "CO fishing hole" you were at, BigAl.
Always enjoyed my visits to that state. Thanks for posting some great scenery.

In the 80s-90s, my wife and I lived in Baldwin City, KS -- about one hour from our current KCMO home. Every October that city hosted the Maple Leaf Festival. It happened last weekend, but we didn't make the visit this year. I don't know how the huge number of maple trees managed to turn to their beautiful fall colors that festival weekend, but every year the timing was perfect. Here are some photos from the BC Maple Leaf Festival web collection....enjoy!
