Nature - in the waning days of August (8/26)

Post by PT7 » Fri Aug 26, 2016 9:34 am

Good Day, Everyone.

Back in 2013, my uncle sent me a powerpoint with a series of nature photos taken during the winter season. I am one of those "odd folk," (from most) who really enjoy the cold and white season of the year. All of these animals were photographed during the wintertime. As we've experienced in many parts of our country this summer very hot, dry, and humid weather, I thought this might be a refreshing change.

So to finish out "the waning days of August," I'd like to share some photos with you each day left of the month (I'll post the date in the subject line). There are quite a few beautiful photos here, but too many to post in one thread.

This is the beginning group! I trust you'll enjoy the beauty of these animals in their natural surroundings.

I don't know who the cowboy is, RR. This was a powerpoint that my uncle sent to me, and I don't know if he built it himself, or got it from someone. So I don't know the origin of these photos....just know they are beautiful, because I love winter photography! :)
