The Trophy of a Lifetime!!!

Post by Mr. Neutron » Mon Dec 19, 2022 5:31 pm

Was headed outside today to function check some new lead reloads for my .380 ACP/Ruger LCP Max. Threw some ear muffs on, stepped outside, and this goofy mole was runnin’ (crawling?? Doin’ the Breast Stroke???) 45 miles an hour (estimated ;) ) across the top of my lawn! I had no idea they moved that fast above land. It just wasn’t quite fast enough for “Quick Draw Jimmie”, however……

Fortunately, my reloads worked well, and I was able to save myself from potentially horrific danger! I now know that if it woulda charged, my firearm and ammo are both up to the task!

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Geez, Fellas, y'all made me laugh so hard when I read this that I spewed out some of my cereal I was havin' for breakfast!
Had to stop and clean the screen on my laptop here.....

I actually shoot quite few of these destructive little bass turds. Use my .45 auto, 12 ga. pump, just whatever I happen to have handy. Just kinda point a gun at a movin' dirt pile and shoot...... I shot one with my .45 one day years ago at point blank range. "Accidentally" shot it in the head. :o When my then 14 yr. old son came out of the house to see what all the shootin' was about, I tried to convince him that I head shot the thing at 30+ yards with my 1911! He's wasn't as gullible as I was at 14......

I suppose my neighbors think I'm nuts standin' around lookin' at the ground while holdin' a shotgun some days  , but I'm good with that. They leave me alone.... ;) Somethin' has to be done when a critter tries to build a replica of the Cascade Mtn. Range in your yard, huh, BrokenoleMarine? :)
