Great pictures thanks for posting them. Congrats Bandit on a nice looking bird. Loving that green grass and that rifle sitting on the bird.

I picked one out as they were leaving and took the shot. It went down and flopped a few times and got back on its feet and then headed toward the tower and dropped again and laid there with its head up and moving it side to side so I put one in its neck for insurance. ... This one was a nice bird at 18 lb with spurs just over an inch and exactly a 8" beard.
Thanks for the hunting stories and sharing your pictures with us, Bandit. Totally enjoy reading your posts.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

The grass is staying green really well. I mowed Thanksgiving weekend last year and it was green like it is now. That rifle was my Dads. In the picture it looks like it has a mark at the front of the checkering and in the checkering. No marks yet on this rifle. That came from chalk for my turkey caller that some how got in the case with the gun and got chalk marks on the wood. No wonder I couldn't find my chalk. No harm done it wipes right off. I hope to get back to doing pictures and it was very nice for BigAl to do them for me. Much appreciated.
