SD National Holiday

Post by brm4450 » Fri Oct 20, 2023 10:34 am

My sons have always say that the opening day of pheasant season in SD should be a national holiday, this weekend is the opening weekend of pheasant season. This is also my granddaughter’s first hunt, bought her an over & under .410, this will be good therapy for her.

I remember my first pheasant hunt outside Sioux Falls. I was 12 and had a 12 ga that grandpa lent me. Never shot a gun before. Had one shot and of course I missed. Grandpa said I stood up to the gun real well.

Sounds like it should be a good day.
Hope they enjoyed themselves.
