I was going through a box of old junk a while back and came across this old black and white photo from around 1969 when a couple of guys and I were hunting and fishing in Quebec. We mainly were fishing for pike and walleye, but I took my 1963 Winchester .32 Winchester Special along. I am holding the rifle but I didn't shoot the bear I surely wish I hadn't sold it, but then again there are a lot of things that I wish I hadn't done. This was at camp and the cabin was owned by an old French trapper who lived way back in the bush. We took 108 miles of dirt road off the main road, as I remember. Pulled a small trailer with a station wagon with an aluminum boat on top. I had forgotten that the photo even existed.
