Re: Missouri firearms deer almost here
Started here about a month ago. First couple outings saw several deer, no chance at a decent shot. Last two weeks, no luck. Still enjoying getting out in the woods with a good friend. Checked out a new spot today. Beautiful spot with a couple nice cleared and recently seeded plots. The seeds planted won't do anything for this year's hunt, but may help next year. Fortunately, it's cool enough to knock down most of the bugs, although there were out today with a warm snap.

Ours is two weeks away, always the Sat. before Thanksgiving for centerfire, but
our BP/muzzleloader season started this past Sat.
going to be a little rainy in the morning, if it's not a down pour I may slip over to one of the hunting houses.
