Meat made this AM...

Deep into season but first kills...2 meat deer..Ruger American.350L, 40 & 45 yds, complete pass through, bamflops, Hornady 170g interlock over Lil Gun...first blood on this cartridge and rifle for me...excellent performance...

I took them to a local processor...the smaller one will be for me and the larger one for a cousin...I have processed my own a fair number of times in the past...but find it easier to let the processor do it although they obviously can’t put in the time and labor to get every ounce of meat like a self processor could..I had a medical procedure last week and was really happy to get out with a rifle in hand...deer were icing on the cake...

well understood on using processor .... we got to doing the same, specially when we wanted some ground
