I seen this on You Tube and found video on how to make it . I had the cord around the house so I made 1 . The pouch and sling is all 1 piece of cord . Yes I know I have too much time on my hands .

I'm pretty sure that's the same four strand braid we used in the boy scouts to make whistle lanyards in the 60s. Very cool, TXG.

They practice with marshmallow indoors and they make better snacks then rocks or golf balls .

There is no way I can shoot it after 3 shoulder operations on my right shoulder and the last one failed and blood sugar me for eating the marshmallow too . But if was fun to make the sling and try it 1 time .

I like this one better than the other slingshot but can't imagine carrying a few dozen golf balls.

My 4 wood catapult I think they are pretty and super accurate . I can hit a tennis ball almost 50% of the time at 10 meters and I'm getting much better with them . The other 2 that I have don't hold a candle in my hand to the wood ones and I will sell them to a good home .

You give me more things to take up the time I don't have already.
But thanks. It looks really neat. Your wooden sling shots look great.

While I don't believe he used para-cord or golf balls, David put one of those to great use.
In the proper hands, it's a formidable weapon indeed.

We made and used slings back when I was about 12. We got pretty good with them. It is an effective weapon. I did take a rabbit with one. We made them of leather thong and leather patch.

That sling is the only way I'm getting a golf ball to go more than 50 yds....

I threw too many curveballs in my younger days to entertain even trying something like that. My elbow hurts just watching it.

I used to make them out of leather scraps when I was a kid. We could hurl good size rocks 300-400 yds easy and somewhat on target!
