My area of NH, unit M, has been shotgun only but a new law allows lever action rifles in 357 mag, 44 mag or 45 long colt! I picked up a Henry Big Boy in 45lc today. Ordered some ammo from Buffalo Bore and can't wait for it to come in for some range time. Can't wait for opening day.

How nice of your masters to permit you a tiny bit more freedom.

Congrats on the new Henry, 45 colt is one of my favorites. At moderate distances it should work well.
I'm going to do some hunting this year with mine.
If you like the Buffalo bore ammo, a couple others gou mag want to try if you can find them are, Cor bon, and Underwoods.
Good lu k and Welcome to the forum.
