Love to go hog hunting in Texas but every place I have checked they want way more than I would think its worth for getting rid of a total nuisance. I read all the time about places that just want them out of there property as they are taking over.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I would also love to hunt hogs. My .44 mag should do the trick. There are rumours of feral hogs in BC now, but nothing verified as of yet. I will freely admit to being more interested in hunting the “ugly” animals, as I feel less attachment to them. I know I’m not alone in having the issue of being a total animal lover, and a hunter too. Hogs, turkeys etc are far easier to shoot than a beautiful buck. But my freezer is still full of venison, so I manage to push through.

I agree with you 100% Al. There should be no charge to hunt feral hogs anywhere in North America. They are pests, and nothing more.
