Truth On Scent Products
it looks like we've about come full circle .... back when I started hunting with my grandfather, he often commented to look for where you thought he game would come from and then position yourself to where the wind was in your face .... back then hunting clothing was denim in the form of jeans or coveralls and a plaid shirt .... if you expected to wade through briars or in the rain you wore Duxbak ... nobody made an issue of trying to cover your scent .... the video below pretty much takes me back to those days

Re: Truth On Scent Products
Speaking of the scent exceptions, I once shot a deer while I was sitting on a stump smoking a cigar. It was ate in the day, the wind was swirling around and I had just about given up on seeing one. So I lit one up and was half-way done, when two of them walked within 30 yards of me. Maybe they liked the smell!Unread post by Jdl447 » Mon Mar 22, 2021 11:55 pm
