We have fox squirrels around here, but they are rare. I won't shoot them, even though they are much bigger than the greys. Just doesn't seem right. Saw one last time I was out hunting. Thought about shooting it for half a second. Then came to my senses. A grey would have been toast, or served with toast, anyway.

Here, Fox and Eastern Greys are non-native and prolific. When they get out of control, they get taken out. Western Gray, Douglas and Chipmunks are safe from me.
