Forum Performance

Post by CT_Shooter » Wed Apr 01, 2020 8:10 am

It's no April Fool's joke. After several days of very sluggish performance at my house, the forum has noticeably returned to normal this morning. Pages and photos are loading instantly again. 8-)

Same here, thought my computer had the virus but all other forums I frequent were loading fine. Worked fine yesterday afternoon and so far this morning.

Yep - noticed it as well but on my end it was intermittent - sometimes normal - sometimes not.

Other forums and websites were normal so I didn't concern myself with it.

FWIW always check performance on other sites & forums immediately when experiencing problems on just one particular site. This eliminates jumping to conclusions such as a computer problem, viruses, ISP issues etc.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

.
No slow down noticed from here.
More people staying home choking your local segment of the internet with movie streaming perhaps.

Streaming and other sites were unaffected. I've binged lots of programming lately. Whatever it was, it's resolved now, but the problem was just with this site.
