I've been getting this message a lot. It means what it says. A few minutes later and it works.

As I clicked to respond, I read at the top that the site is disabled, yet I am able to post and look around like normal.
I certainly have no idea what is making it do this.

I have gotten that several times in the last couple of weeks. It sometimes comes on while I am engaged in a post.

I've seen that one and others. Those messages indicate....
o The forum software is busy, most commonly from spam bots trying to register as new members. They often try over and over.
o The GoDaddy forum host is busy. They host other websites not just us. So if there is a lot of other traffic holding things up a timeout results and gives us the unavailable message(s).

Apparently doesn't affect those with admin permissions. They have priority access.

Since we are on forum functions does anyone else have problems posting pictures and text without it shifting?

I’m having the same problem. On occasion I type a lengthy post and it blips right when I hit submit. Thought is was me as another sight I frequent does the same thing but not near as often as HRF. Okay, getting ready to hit submit, please don’t fail

Yes that happens. Put in a couple of extra carriage returns after each photo.
I edited that post to show that it does work (as viewed from a Windows PC).

I’ve found it sometimes takes three returns.

This is one of the other messages that occur from time to time. Red text on a pink highlight.

I've seen this message several times, too.

It’s really clunky tonight.

I keep getting kicked out and doesn’t let me back in for 30 minutes or so.

Last few days I have had to leave and return.

It’s been great the last several days but this morning a few hiccups again. However I have been able to post sometimes having to hit the submit more than once.

Been a pain most of last week and the weekend. Took over a dozen tries before I could get to a pm from Ted yesterday.
And a few more before I was able to get a post in the reloading thread.
This was my third visit today and finally got a couple post up.

You're welcome. This one was not obvious to solve. Tweaking load settings had no effect. Did find that the heavy bot attempted traffic was overwhelming the forum software's ability to track guest statistics. So guest statistics are now disabled. Just the tally function. Guests can still browse.

I don't believe this is a 100% full proof solution. The error messages could come back at some point, if/when the bots start hitting with heavier traffic.

I’m having occasional ongoing problems posting. Mainly just not being able to submit. If I hit go back and retry it usually goes through. Sometimes I loose everything and have to start from scratch. My work around is to submit an incomplete post and then complete it by editing.
