Im using the same procedure with pics and I cannot get the pic to post from Photopuke. I was able to get one photo up yesterday but I am trying to also post that photo in another thread and all is does is insert the link to it in the post. Al

Try using the bottom link in photobucket.

Last time I tried to use Pukebucket I used the bottom link on the right. I think it was image link.

I had to click the URL link several times before I got a confirmation on copy. The insert box used to turn yellow when successful, IIRC. Glad I'm not using it any longer.

Ive tried both of those links top and bottom and neither one will work for me now. They have before but there arent right now. Al

Al, I know Photobucket was having issues last week. I left them. I'm not sure, they could be having problems still.

You can load the pictures directly from your computer too.

It is working now as you can see in my "hunting" post, but for how long, is anybody's guess. And I know that the problem is that when it goes down then just the link shows up. I thought about posting using the forum photo attachment but thought that I would still take a chance with it.

Just tried it again editing the post and it still just gives a link Dutch. I cant seem to figure out how to direct upload from the computer. I can ususally figure things out here but I havent got it yet. Al

Some of my photos don't work either, just the link, but some others work fine and the photo loads to the forum. I really don't understand it either. I am limited in my knowledge of computers but know enough to get by. I started late in life when I was 69 in 2014.

To post a photo from your computer, go to full editor. Start making your post. Click on attachments. It will say add files. Click that and find your pictures. Find the one you want and click on open. It will start to load your picture. A green check mark will appear when it's done. Click on place in line and it should work. Click preview and it will let you know. When satisfied, click submit.

Welcome to the club. I "kicked the bucket" account almost a year ago and have yet to have issues with my new hosting site.


If you still want to use a hosting site in the future, try flickr.com. Easy and reliable.That's what I moved to. A lot of my drum forum buddies went that way as well which is how I heard about it.
