Unable to receive email notification

I've tried to set up my profile to allow email notification to me when a
forum member responds to a subscribed thread. However, I must be missing
something because I still get no email notification of a response. Can you
help me? Thank you.

I have seen it on other forums, but unless I am missing something, I have never been able to do that with this forum. Maybe I am wrong but I see no way to do what you are describing. If there is a way, someone please point me in the right direction.

Red Ryder, I poked around in all the nooks and crannies looking for that option this morning and came up empty. Email notification doesn't appear to be available. I'll do it again later, just in case I overlooked a nook.

So, I did overlook a nook.

In the Notifications settings there is a column of checkboxes under the Heading Email. I don't have any checked, but it may be the solution.

I have had that box checked since the new forum has been in place, with no results. However, I did hit the "submit" again, we shall see what happens. I have always received the regular notifications but never anything as far as emails in my inbox.

It may be something I have not enabled in the brains of the forum. I don't know if I can get to it during the week, but I'll try to look at it this weekend.
