Posting pictures

Post by graywolf » Thu Jun 02, 2022 10:13 pm

I’ve read the faq page but don’t understand how to post pictures. Can someone help me on how to do it on an iPad? Do I need a minimum number of posts before I can post pictures?
Thanks.

No on the minimum number of posts. Use the full editor and preview tab. Then there is an attachment tab at the lower left of the window. Use that tab and an add files tab will appear. You should then be able to choose a photo from your ipad. I have an Iphone and a mac I can load them from either.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Looks like back to square one. My first few pictures in gardening section went good. Now I went to post picture in range reports and can’t get to post. It showed a something about pic not being right size. Am I missing where or how to resize? I like looking at everyone’s pictures, and I want to do my part and post some of mine.

You will need to use your Ipad or phone to resize if that is the case. Not knowing how the photo is taken whether its a vertical shot or horizontal shot that can have an effect in my experience whether it will post or not. If its a vertical shot try rotating it with your edit feature in the phone or Ipad. When you take photos with your phone or Ipad always make sure your shutter button is on the right.

OK. Thank You again. Im pretty sure I took the garden pictures horizontally and the target was vertical. Will rotate the vertical shot and see if it will post.
