New home for the Buck 119

Post by Greyhawk » Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:58 pm

I love my buck 119 as an all around camp knife, but I have always hated the sheath. (especially since I am left handed)
Well I found a reasonably priced handmade sheath (By Carl Thomas out of Mississippi) on amazon the other day and decided to give it a try. I am very very happy with it. Very good quality, Very good price, Very fast shipping, and a nice hand written note included. If you're looking for a new home for your Buck 119, (or just about any other knife) check out Carl's website at carlthomasknifesheaths.com

By the way, that is my beater 119 I got from Ebay. It came already scratched and dinged. I wanted one that way so that anything I did to it wouldn't bother me. I use it a lot at the camp. This sheath will see a lot of use there and hunting. It's just the ticket.

That's great! Both the knife and the sheath should give you many years of good service. That orange towel makes a great display background too! :D

greyhawk was kind enough to post the website of the maker of his sheath and I went there to purchase mine. I am very pleased with the quality and function of the sheath. I love it.

I purchased a similar 75 th 119 from Copper and Clad with the red handle. If I remember correctly, my blade is high carbon steel. It is also serial numbered. Here are a few pics.
