I got the one I have now from a factory rep that visited an air base I was on in 1982. The blade says .112.. so it's a 1980 or 1981.
I had a 4" folder before this one. My brother admired it and did all my knife sharpening so I gave it to him. I had carried it since 1971, so it was probably that.

First 110 is a '75 with the two dots. That belongs to my older son now. My other is of 2005. Such great knives!
I'll check my other Buck's when I get home in early afternoon.

I broke the tip of mine but I reshaped it myself instead of sending it in to Buck. It's just a hair shorter but it actually helped me to reach up into the cavity of a deer with my finger on the top of the blade and know that my finger was safe from being cut.I do not like a long knife for that reason. Here is my pride and joy.

Your sheath looks like new compared to mine, I wore a hole in the flap that I had to patch, also had to replace the belt loop. 1972-1986 markings but I know I bought in it the early '70s.

If any of you ever travel to North Idaho the Buck factory moved to Post Falls from California several years ago. They offer factory tours (pre-Covid anyway) and every year have a consumer direct Fathers Day sale. This is a short drive from where I live but so far I haven’t taken a tour. I will correcting that one of these days.
