New knife from pawn shop
I found a NIB Winchester knife at the pawn shop yesterday. It is a Texas Toothpick model. It is a numbered commemorative for the 1866 Winchester. American made but I can't find much info on it. Looks like they made Trapper models also for the 1866 Winchester. Has the paper work and box and I got it for $20 OTD so I bought it even though I don't have any Winchesters. It is worth more than $20 to use it for a hunting season carry knife. I know I can sell it at a show for more and I know Winchester items bring good money if American made. Number 346 of ? Any one have any info on this knife.

Great looking knife but I'm not sure I would want it in my pocket.

I used to like the smaller knives but with the arthritis in my fingers the bigger knife is better for me especially in the colder part of hunting season. I usually carry knives this size in a sheath and not my pocket any way. Couldn't turn it down for $20 being USA made.Sir Henry wrote:Great looking knife but I'm not sure I would want it in my pocket.
