I watched 100 video and this design seem to be the best way too shoot . Here is the 1st pics . It is made out of plywood and I just fitted it to my hand , sanded it , stained and polyurethane . Now I'm waiting for paint harden so I can to put the bands on and shoot it .

That design keep your hand locked in place and when you pull the band back It can't twisting or bending back when you pull on it back . I will post a target later when I get it dialed in if this post shows any interest .

Very interesting design. Where did you get the rubber for it?

Many thanks as I looked and found "made in U.S. A." Do you think they would work with a .375 pure lead round ball or is that a bit heavy? I still have a lot of those left from the Colt 2nd gem. Navy I had.

I cast up .451 in pure lead and shot them in my Diablo slingshot and they worked perfect . But you can get the stainless bearing cheap in any size and Qty .

Here is a target I shot this morning . Nothing great but I'm learning . The grip , sight picture , anchor points and release like a bow in super important . I have a swollen knuckle in try different grips , anchor points and release the steel ball hit it . In the pic you can see that not hard to do . A learning curve

I bought a thousand of those and they work great. I also bought a new band that you had linked. I broke mine.

My husband bought another sling shot about a week ago. It is in the den and I do not remember the name of it now.

He has a really OLD one around here too.
