Had a small gun show this weekend in town.
Have been looking for a knife with a Marlin Spike,
Always had one when I was in the Navy. And have no idea
Where it went?
Well I found this one at the show, not US made, but it will fill the void for now

It's pretty much, just something that a sailor or someone
Who works on a ship, or on the docks. Would need, the spike is used to get knots undone, ropes that get wet and under a lot of stress, can be tuff to get undone.
The one I had was made by Case.

Something very similar, in various guises, used to be standard issue in the British Army from WW1 onwards.

The marlin spike can be very handy. The one you got looks pretty good. I have some knives made by the same company overseas. They are pretty good quality.
