ZT Zero Tolerance folding knife

This ZT knife model 200 has been about the best pocket knife I have ever had. It's made in the USA and I paid about $130.00 for it.
Here it is after a soak in some CLP on a paper plate for about an hour. ( I love using paper plates to hold smaller knives and gun parts and then spray with CLP to clean )
It's got G10 handles, the coating on the blade has been amazing. I have carried and used it everyday for almost three years. It's cut huge amounts of cardboard, plastic, zip ties, cut stuff up against metal, game animals, wood etc. it still looks brand new.
The blade is ROCK solid, it feels like a fixed blade after all I've done to it. I highly recommend this model.
I keep it sharp with a leather strop.

Wow, I've never heard of them, but that is some testimonial for that brand. Three years of daily use and it looks brand new. I especially like that blade open picture. I made it maximize and it looks great. I'll have to look into them more.
Thank you for sharing this. It may prove expensive for the rest of us.

That's a great looking knife. I can see why you like it so much - it's definitely one to look out for. Thanks for posting this, and I think Dave might be correct about it turning out to be expensive!

Very cool-looking blade, PMC. The somewhat bulky look of the handle with knife closed reminds me a little of a hand grenade!
When ZT markets this knife, do they put it under a "tactical" category? It sure has that look to it.
How does this compare to your ESSE blades? I remember you posting pics of three you have, and said there wasn't a job they couldn't handle? Which is your favorite?
Thanks for introducing me to both ESSE and ZT. I like your taste and choices.....cool.

Very nice and obviously worth every penny. Ken Onion designs some great working knives.

Thanks for the reply guys.
PT7 - I don't know what ZT considers this type of knife. It's not spring assisted and I like that it's not. Between this knife and my ESEEs....I love both brands, for a made in the USA pocket knife for hard use I don't think the ZT could be beat, plus they have a great lifetime warranty just like the ESEEs. My Dad left me his case knives and I love them too but I don't carry them because they mean so much to me.
If you dropped me in the woods with only one knife it would be the ESEE Junglas with the 10" blade. I have made some nice shelters with it. I would rather have a bigger blade than smaller. But since I can't carry a Junglas on me daily the ZT will do.
I'll try to post up a few more sharp things that you guys might like later this week since I'm off work.
Take care

Ken Onion designs some nice knives. I like the belly on this one.
I CCW and one thing I like about a good knife is that it never runs out of ammo

Nice knife! Thanks for the picture and report.
I never heard of ZT knives until I joined and read the Blade Forums.
I never owned one but I have read many GOOD things about ZT knives.
