MORA Companion Heavy Duty MG~~~

Post by Catherine » Thu Dec 01, 2016 4:15 am

My husband picked up a knife for me as a surprise gift. He got one for himself too.

It is a nice knife.

Cabela's in our town had them for $19.99 each.

It is Made in Sweden, it has a soft friction grip, military green which looks dark green almost black to me, a 4.1" carbon steel blade and it comes with a plastic sheath with a belt clip.

BUCK knives are still my top favorite knife brand and I love my 3 fixed blade, Ka-Bar New York made knifes too.

This is not a bad knife for the price and I do LIKE plain carbon steel knives too.

That looks like a very functional knife.

My eyes must be getting old, grin, because I looked at the knife in the bright sun AND in between the light snow and valley fog and the handle IS black but the end of it is military green.

Please excuse my 'duh moment'!

That's a nice knife for sure. That's a very good price too. It seems very practical. Will you use it daily for a while to see how it works out?

I've had a Mora knife for quite a few years now, and for the money it just can't be beaten. It takes and holds an edge very well, and it's very versatile around the campfire/kitchen as well as well as for gutting/skinning etc.

As an extra bonus, if it ever gets lost or broken, it isn't going to make me cry too much! ;)
