A Buck debut

It is really interesting how the Buck folk on BladeForums keep "on top of" Buck knife news --- not much different than Henry lovers always know what's happening at Henry RAC! ;)

For the last couple of weeks, I have been considering a Buck 110 folder. Much of the reading I've been doing, and many of the comments on the BF indicate that it is a high-quality and well-known knife; quite similar to the rep the H001 has in the lever-action world. Another reason is that I really like the rosewood handle the 110 carries.

This morning I visited this knife forum, and bumped into a new-style 110 in a 2017 publication. An auto-version is not my thing, but this looks quite interesting. Thought I'd pass it on to any knife nuts here on HRF. Have a great day!

That's a really nice knife.

I might just need one of these. I really like being able to open a knife with one hand. I am usually holding what I need the knife for in the other hand.

I'm pretty sure there are aftermarket shops that have been modifying 110s and selling them as autos for a while now. Looks like Buck jumped in and figured they'd do it from the factory.
