Torx drivers -- what are your suggestions?

Looking for some help on getting my first tool(s) to maintain my knives. And actually I'm still learning about what those tools might be.....always something new!

Specific Q.
I'm looking to change belt clips on a couple of knives...would like to have opened with point end down. They have the type of screw that needs a Torx driver (new-to-me-tool). I've found that there are various sizes of Torx screwdrivers, and wondering if this CRKT accessory might be sufficient? Specifically, the descript says it has four standard Torx sizes: T5, T6, T8 and T10. Cannot tell just by looking at my knives if there are different size screws, but bet there are. Also wondering if CRKT builds tools only for their own knives, although the ad does say this will work on other knives....still wondering if this driver-Torx is at all limited by knife brand.

So what do you have in Torx screwdrivers?

General Q.
The bigger question is what starter set of tools do I need to get (as a knife newbie) in order to maintain my knife? I'm thinking of taking apart one or two of my older blades, and I'd think other tools would be needed/handy.

Any advice/suggestions on either Q is much appreciated.

Torx head drivers are everywhere anymore. For the most bang for the buck, get the ones with 1/4" hex bits and a driver handle. Some don't like the feel of them, but I find that the bits are generally better quality than the separate drivers, unless you buy the real high end stuff.

I have a set of Craftsman miniature screwdrivers that also have the small torx heads. If you want a good variety, look at what clovishound suggested. A nice set with 1/4" shafts could have other useful bits too. Take a look next time you are at Sears or any other well stocked hardware store to see what is available.

If you take things apart that are small, think about a magnetic tool dish. It could keep some of those very tiny screws and things from disappearing.

Craftsman makes a good set if you can still get the ones that are made in the U.S.A. Many Craftsman tools are now made in China.

Just saw this. I have numerous torx drivers from bits to Snap On sockets, I'll get some pics when I can. 1 set of bits I got as a "Major Award" from Chrysler years ago. It's got about everything inc. tamper proof torx

I use a combination of Craftsman, Weaver, and Wheeler; depending on size.

The black sockets are for removing rounded bolt heads, like an inverted "easy out", AWESOME tool
Also FWIW, w/high end bit/drivers I have used torx MANY times as an "easy out". Esp. w/you have to heat a
broken bolt to get it out, a real easy out will not bite well after heated . You can drive a torx socket in and it will bite.
Also torx work good to remover rounded Allen head bolts, drive in the next bigger size
