Help me ID this Gerber knife

Post by John E Davies » Sat Nov 12, 2022 2:24 pm

I can't locate anything similar online. It was a gift quite a few years back.

I need to put a value on it for selling online. It is in new condition. Frankly, I was afraid to stick it in my pocket right next to my femoral artery ;)

Thanks,

I couldn't find anything similar on Gerber's site or bladehq so I imagine it's discontinued, I posted a photo over on Reddit's knifeclub forum, maybe someone there will know.

Quick response from Reddit.

"It’s called the Gerber Ridge. It’s a money clip knife. They are discontinued as far as I can tell, but they were about $25 new. Used they aren’t really worth anything. $5-$10 maybe if you convince someone to buy it."

OK, thanks, I knew it is a cheap knife. I just didn’t know how cheap. If it wasn’t so darned dangerous, I might gift it to someone.

I appreciate the quick reply.

Similar styling to this one I have.

I think it's only worth about $20.00 to $25.00.
