I bought this recently as a carry sharpener. It has a coarse and fine side. It gets the job done. And, the sheath works as a strop. I’ve used it a few times, and been happy with the results. No, it is not a ‘professional’ tool. Check it out.

It looks just as you have described it, easy and quick. It would go nicely in the truck glovebox for me. Thanks for the heads up.

I have coarse and extra fine DMT stones for my woodworking tools. They do a good job on knives that have seen too much work and too little sharpening for too long. Finish off with a hard arkansas stone and a quick strop with CRO2 and they are sharp enough to scare a ripe tomato into thin slices with just a look.
