The word that leaps to my mind is "classy". That is a great looking knife that has all the features I use, except the cork screw. I will revisit this thread in a few months hopefully.

I don't often use the corkscrew, but when needed, it works quite well. I'm surprised you don't use it, since you are the OP of "The Adult Evening Beverage."

I'm glad this Forester Wood has caught your eye. "Classy" fits well. I'll look forward to your comments if/when you choose to get one after your transportation acquisition. For me, I'm going to spend a little more time searching out Victorinox multi-tools for other models, which may carry wood scales. There was a BladeForums thread I saw about SAKs that had a variety of knife sizes, and the wood scales had different configurations. For instance, my 111mm Forester has finger grooves. Some other wood models posted in that thread didn't have them. Surprise to me that this Victorinox is even more comfortable in hand than my Buck 112 with finger grooves. Anyway, I could easily see trying to grow a small Victorinox WOOD collection. 'Tis much fun for this wood nut.
