I certainly didn't .... I was messing around with the knives and looking at the sheath .... didn't give it a thought, just picked up one of the knives that's about the same length and stuck it in the sheath .... to my surprise, it fit .... tried some others and while not all worked, some did .... :D

I refuse to buy any knives made in China. The last knives I have bought are made in Japan. The steel in those is superior to the ones made in China. I have a set we use at home that were very sharp out of the box and they have held an edge so well I havent had to sharpen them since we got them. My wife uses them daily when we are home. I also have a set here in the RV that are equally as good. The edge lasts a good while.
