A Few Case (American Made) Knives

Post by Steve51 » Mon Aug 15, 2016 5:45 pm

For several years when we took a vacation, I would visit knife shops with the purpose of buying one knife. Over the years I have collected a few Case knives. Thought I would share some pictures with you. My personal favorite carry knife is a 3 blade medium stockman.

I also have collected a few Uncle Henry/Shrade knives, a few Buck knives, a couple of Remington knives, and a Winchester knife. I am partial to American made.

Neat collection, Steve. I've just started a small knife collection myself...and it will be a long time before I catch up to your numbers-in-hand!! ;)

In the one picture of four blades, which one is the Eisenhower? Caught my interest...thanks.
And thanks for the posting.

P.S. My souvenir collectible during vacations was ball caps showing where we visited. Easy to buy, easy to carry. But for sure I don't have enough hooks to hang them all up!!

You have some beauties there. The Bird knife and the Russlocks are something I haven't seen before.

The Eisenhower knife is the small upper right knife. It is my understanding that President Eisenhower gave this style knife as gifts to close friends and other acquaintances.

I have one Russlock knife that I keep in my hunting pack. I have small hands and it works well for me when field dressing deer. I also use a Buck 112 (Like the 110, just a little smaller).

I have a friend who collects lots of Case knives. He has a very impressive collection too. The Eisenhower is a new pattern to me. Interesting story about it too.

Nice collection.
