Prefect 10 meter gun range

Post by tx gunrunner » Sun May 08, 2016 7:19 am

I love my indoor 10 meter gun range . I can shoot pellet or BB gun on it and with the NEW target frame I can shoot my slingshot on it too . With the towel backstop it will captures the steel balls , BB's and even the lead pellets without any damage and drop them gently into a box on the floor . I shoot from the Master bedroom down a long hallway to my guess bedroom . There is 2 bathroom if the need come up , 2 bed if I need to take a nap and a kitchen for food or drink . It is air condition in summer and heated in winter and it is open 24 hrs and it has a mean guard dog . Now tell me that is not perfect range

If you click on thumbnail and then on pic it will enlarge again .

That's a great idea, and well made too! Thanks for sharing.

I like it .. :D

when it comes to things related to firearms, my wife is very patient with me .... unfortunately, I suspect that she'd not be too happy if I tried to set up a range in our hallway ..

I like the target stand might have to build a smaller model for shooting in my garage.

Very nice TG.

I have several questions.

I have been considering setting up a 10 and 5 meter range for shooting Daisy 499B's. My wife would not be happy with one in our house, but I have 24/7 access to a close building that is available for use as a an indoor heated/airconditioned range. Only thing is there can not be any BB's left behind.

So, do the BB's ever deflect where they would scatter? What is the expected useful life of the cloth? What is the approximate cost of the material to build one(ballpark figure)?

Thanks

Clever idea.

I know a man that runs a leather shop. He has a bullet trap setup in his back room and when business is slow, he can be found back there plinking wih his 22lr. Cinderblock walls and piles and piles of leather absorb the noise. His neighbors have no idea and he's been doing this for many years.

My stand is 34" high and 26" wide . I had it shorter but when I redesign it I made it taller to 34" .
