Indoor air rifle season: good start

Snow on the ground, this week, so getting serious about my indoor air rifle shooting, now. Today, my eyes were a bit tired from a long day of riding the fat bike in the snow, so the first gun I tried, our HW30S Deluxe with its peep/globe sight combo, was a tough go. Finally gave up with it out of frustration and grabbed its stable mate, next, the HW30S Laminate with a scope and set the scope at 7x. Love iron sights, I surely do, but my offhand scores are better with a scope, now, thanks to a lot of practice shooting offhand with a scope.

Being able to see the target may seem like a no brainer as far as improving how well you shoot, but it's even more of a no brainer when your eyes are not at their best. Anyway, very pleased to see that I'm right where I left off at the end of last winter's indoor season.

Oh, and shooting a great gun like the HW30S helps, too. :)

10 meters (33 feet), the traditional air gun competition distance.

I think that says a lot. Once in a blue moon I can shoot almost as good as you but you seem to do it each and every time.

Naw, I'm just cheap. Hate to spend money on ammo and then miss. :)

very nice indeed .... my compliments, I don't have an interior place that I could setup a target at that distance ....
