New Basement Range

Post by daytime dave » Sat Mar 11, 2017 8:11 am

I put my range in the basement this past week. It's portable. I used the Discovery to shoot at it.

The rangefinder says it's 12 yards max distance.

That's a great idea, Dave .... I really like that. Image Is the backstop a piece of carpet?

It's perfect for the days when going outside just isn't an option. :D

That's a great idea.

I'm just a bit confused, though. What do you do with all the breakers while shooting?

Dave, that's ingenious. Love the idea of being able to close things up. Our basement range is now pretty much a permanent fixture unless I want too do a lot of work to put everything away.

Wish I had a basement. Best I can do is open a window and shoot from it. Speaking of which the window to shoot from is also the computer/hobby room which is now cleared. If the wind dies down just a tad I might just plink.

Excellent use of a panel box. I would love to have a full basement to shoot in.

I missed this thread somehow, but VERY COOL Dave.......

There is nothing like being able to shoot anytime you want, and 12 yards is a decent distance for airguns.

Basements are so useful; we don't have them here in Florida so nobody has pool tables................
