I have a Crosman 1100 air shotgun. Made in the late 60's, ear70's. It uses two CO2 cartridges. There was a whole set up for it with plastic "clays" that broke when you hit them. They were able to be reassembled. The gun is .36 caliber. A fellow in CA found you can put a 36 caliber ball in a u.sed hull and kill jackrabbits with it. It's a cool gun. Gamo has on in .22 caliber if I recall correctly. I wanted one, but never saw one for sale locally.
Air shotgun, why not.
