Silver Streak

My brother has an old Sheridan Silver Streak. ( I am assuming it's older than my Blue Streak ).
I assume this because there is no serial number anywhere. All it says on one side of the chamber is "Silver Streak" and on the other side it says " Sheridan Products, Racine Wisconsin ". It does not even say the caliber. I also assume it is 5MM/20CAL, same as my Blue Streak. It has a spring loaded safety blade on the top of the reciever above the trigger. It must be depressed while pulling the trigger in order for it to shoot.
The issue is: It needs new seals, as it will not hold air, but he doesn't know which kit to order because of the lack of identification.
The rifle is in extremely good condition, so he really wants to fix it.
I'm hoping NCG will see this thread, or anyone else who can help!!

Mark

Not to worry. Got you covered.

The hold down safety would make it a 50s to early 60s gun.

Two of the best known repair sites for Sheridans is https://www.bakerairguns.com/repair-restoration/ and http://www.mac1airgunshop.com

Pretty sure you can order repair kits from both, too, but as old as that gun is, might be worth have a repair pro tackle the job.

Thank you so much!!!
I will pass this info on to my brother. The rifle IS in excellent condition. Given its age though, I will encourage him to leave it to the pros. I really appreciate the links Joanie!

Mark, to add to Joanie's expert advice, I have used both of her recommended repair shops. I can recommend both equally for the job you need. Good luck to your brother.
