BB guns are the one type of air gun I have yet to explore, but it's been on my to do list for a long time. Dave, you and Gene and Forty are way ahead of me on this one. Just too busy with all the other types of air guns to get it done.

Joanie, I also have one of those Daisy Avanti 499 BB guns on back order from Pyramid. I'm really wanting to see the accuracy that it can wring out.

Plus one other really cool just for fun gun on back order.

Bought a granddaughter a Daisy 499b, she shoots 4H, her and I practice in the backyard. I have to use one of my son’s old Red Ryder BB guns. I can hit the bottles and cans, ring the gong but she can really put’em on paper, she really out shoots me. We really have a good time, a few laughs and a lot of bonding!

When I was a kid and went to the county fair, the carnival there had a BB game with Thompson’s and you had to shoot the bullseye completely out of the target to win a prize. I loved that game.

Never, spent a lot of dimes between that and the cranes, I was the master of the cranes, won a lot of yellow pocket knives.

Looks like a lot of fun, I think it will be my next gun purchase, I keep saying I'm not going to buy any more guns

Do you have to load 2 CO2 cartridges, I suppose you could probably load a full and a empty cartridge if you didn't want to shoot much or would that affect the bb velocity?

Dave, I'm not sure. I didn't try it. I bought a big lot of C02 cartridges on Ebay a few years ago to satisfy my Crosman 1100 shotgun shooting habit. I still have a lot of them around so I don't worry about two or three mags and then a refresh. I still think you can get them pretty cheaply on Ebay. I would think it would work for at least one mag.
