Weihrauch HW50S

Post by Shakey Jake » Sat Apr 24, 2021 9:16 pm

I finally broke down and ordered one today along with a Williams FP-AG-TK Aperture Sight. I considered the HW95 Luxus but for just plinking in the backyard I thought this was more appropriate. Looking forward to shooting some targets with it.

Congrats Jake. I sure like shooting mine. Keep thinking about a second one but so far just looking around and shooting this one. Where did you get it at?

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Just got a .177. Rick or Rich, can't remember, at A of A said they only had it in .20 and the cost was about $70 more. I found one at Airgun Depot as it was in stock and cheaper than www.pyramydair.com . I ordered the peep site from A of A.

Good for you Jake. Pyramid and Airgun Depot are part of the same outfit. A o A is the distributor for HWs in this country

We have two of the 50s. One is in 177 and one is in 20. I rate the HW50 as the perfect all around springer in the "light" springer class. Not too powerful for backyard or indoor use, but still plenty of power for small game and pest shooting. The weight and size of the 50 is very reminiscent of a good 22 bolt gun. The next step up in power is the HW95, a much bigger gun.

HWs are not too fussy about pellets, but our 50 in 177 loves the JSB Express 7.87s.

Just holler if you have questions on yours.
