Hey Dave how are you liking the Umarex. I see there is a place on Amazon where you can get 5 of those big 88g CO2 cart. for 40.00. Thats a pretty good deal.
Local Sportsmans Warehouse carries 2 packs of the Umarex 88g cartridges for $16 so about the same price. Still waiting for the 12g adapters to come back in stock. Also need to call them to see if I can get another cartridge cover, I think I can make it fit the valve adapter with a bit of trimming but don't want to mess it up if I can't get a replacement for it.

Was also curious Dave what height rings you used on the scope.
These are the rings I got for it, work great, seem to be very well made.

FYI, the 2x12g adapter is back in stock. BTW, if you only want to use one 12g cartridge you can load it with one full cartridge and one empty cartridge.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Got the 2x12g adapter today, fits fine in my 850 M2, should fit in any gun that uses a 88g CO2 cartridge. I didn't realize that it has a valve so you can remove it from the gun when it still has some CO2 left in it although you do lose a little CO2 when removing it. If it ever cools off enough to do some shooting I will find out how many shots I get on 1 and 2 12g cartridges. It's been in the high nineties and hundreds most of July and doesn't look like it going to cool down anytime soon.

Id be curious also to see if the velocity is affected by only using one or 2 Cartridges.

I don't have any way to accurately measure velocity, I could compare how much they penetrate into a board.
