I'm asking, because I know they exist, but I don't really have any knowledge about them. I'm looking for reliable performance, suitable for hunting. I'm thinking .22 caliber also.
So far I have seen the FX Revolution and the Evanix Conquest. They are pricey.
The site should be fixed. We show secure now, we should have a favicon and the picture aspect should be better.

I know several people who use these http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Benjamin_ ... Stock/3139
The Marauder is not semi automatic as I define the term, but this rifle uses magazines for fairly rapid shots. These rifles are noted as quite accurate, dependable, and have a power adjustor I think. You can charge them up with a hand pump, but I think that is not really workable. I would suggest if you buy one that you buy an air tank that will do the charging.
Best of luck!

Re: Does anyone have experience with Semi Automatic pellet rifles
Thanks Rimfire. I actually have a Marauder. I loaned it to someone who likes it, but would like a semi auto. He isn't very familiar with guns, so it's kind of interesting to listen to him about what he wants.
He has a Gamo spring piston. I suggested he look at the Marauder if he wanted multiple shots. I loaned him mine. He liked how quiet it was, but slow to reload and get a second shot. Without repeating his description, it boiled down to semi automatic action. They are out there, but I don't know much about them.
Thanks for the response though. I appreciate it. The pump is a work out, but manageable if you take breaks.

Dave,
This is a great forum. Though the technology seems ancient (craig's list), the membership is top notch.
A great site for work too, as it has a PC name (no airguns at work LOL)

Re: Does anyone have experience with Semi Automatic pellet rifles
I was able to research and make a recommendation for my friend. He chose the FX Monsoon on my recommendation. I picked it up this week and got the scope mounted and dialed in. He and I are able to use a pump without difficulty, so I tested everything today. The pump put 2800 psi into it and I shot the semi auto with mixed results. I tried different pellets. The instructions say stay away from heavy pellets. I stayed away. It is an awesome gun that I cannot afford at this time, but want. My friend can afford it and will love it. Because it is his and not mine, I will not post photos. I'm old school and that's the right thing to do.
It made a ragged hole at 25 yards when I did what I needed to. It had hiccups as any semi auto pellet gun can, but at least I was able to learn the curve enough to help get him going with it. We went with the FX Monsoon in Synthetic black stock. .22 Caliber. A Hawke 50mm IR scope. A great fun gun.
