I don't reload, but thought this might be of interest to those who do. It seems that some components are being impacted due to the need for factory ammo mfg's to supply ammo to feed all those new gun owners, in addition to everyone else who is stocking up.

I'm pretty well set for ammo. Been in conservation mode for the last 6 months, and only shoot enough to maintain my skills which doesn't require multiple mag dumps. But if I do run out, there's always Katana san - the real thing, not some tourist shop toy. And other items I won't discuss.

Badger is good in a scrap if it comes to that...

Stopped by the local Academy last week and picked up a couple storage boxes, while there I looked at the ammo shelf. Wow, pretty well stripped, glad I reload.
Just got 1500 bullets two days ago.
Probably gonna call Missouri bullet and place an order with them also.

Just received my order form MBC for 180 gran 257 and 405 45-70, 500 of each. Order took 5 weeks to fill.

Primers seem to be taking the worst hit.

Sitting pretty good on primers, maybe a little low on Sm rifle, but there are around 2000 sized and primed 223's sitting on the shelf.
It and the 25-20 are the only sm cal rifles I have.

Yeah, the last order back at the end of the year took a little extra time.
I still have most of it as I've been kinda busy and haven't been shooting as much.
Thought I'd go ahead and get an order in now before it really gets stupid.

Let me know what you find. I have been looking for Federal benchrest 7 1/2 primers with no luck.

As I mentioned, I don't reload. I'm just going by what a couple reloader friends have told me and what I've read, so I don't even bother going by the reloading aisle locally. Y'all are on your own (heard that somewhere recently) .

Deja vu here we go again, like it’s 2012 all over again. Fortunately most of us learned to keep a good supply on hand. I did stop into our area Cabela’s a couple of weeks ago looking for some .327 Buffalo Bore and found the handgun ammo section wiped out.

The small gun shops around me seem to be keeping up with demand for ammo, except for quality popular defense ammo. Academy in Tupelo has mostly bare shelves, likewise a BassPro. Those are the only 2 chain stores within reasonable driving distance.

I think I recall the Coyote using ACME primers one time in a cartoon...maybe I'll try some. What's the worst that can happen?

Yep, my local loading store is pretty thin on things. Glad I bought what I wanted/needed a while ago. I'm set for the long haul if necessary. It is getting to slim pickings tho.

Stopped by my LGS where he usually has a good stock of powder and primers. He was out of the the Winchester Standard small and large pistol primers and same for the CCI primers.
No Unique powder which I have plenty of and I bought the last 2 lbs. of Red Dot and last pound of Alliant 2400 when I saw it.
I needed the Red Dot as I was on my last 1 lb. There was a fair amount of other powder choices but didn't see any Power Pistol.

Yep, primers, especially spp's, are getting tough to locate. Glad you found what you could. 2400 is always good to find.

Just placed an order with MB for .45 Colt...44 Special/Mag and the .357 Pugs. Was getting low and was out of the 250 gr. 45 Colt.
