I have The Lyman (pumpkin) vibrating cleaner and a lot of the crushed walnut shells. My late friend left me an ultrasonic cleaner and twenty minutes in it and my brass is good to go. I use a few drops of Dawn and some Lemi Shine .

You'll be able to find them if they are laying in the leaves! Do you have to blow the media out of the casings afterwards or does it just fall out?

I hand polish each piece of brass with Brasso one at a time.

It's a good idea to rinse the brass after tumbling to remove any remaining media and dust.
I hand polish each piece of brass with Brasso one at a time.
You might want to seriously consider a tumbling system.
I recommend liquid with pins.

Nothing prettier than a batch of bright shinny brass ( well, almost ).

I just put a few drops of brass polish in tumbler. Works pretty good. Walnut media.
That's about 500 in my reload drawer.

One has to be careful about using any kind of brass polish that has ammonia in it as too much of it can weaken the brass.

That's why I add the auto polish, New Finish, to my media sometimes. I like them shiny too.
