Winchester WST in .44 Magnums ?

I bought an unopened, one lb bottle of Winchester WST "Super Target" in a Garage Sale.

It says on the bottle for use in Shotgun and some pistol cartridges.

Apparently WST came out around 1998.

Except for my LEE Reloading Manual, all of my other reloading manuals are copyrighted older than that.

Has anyone reading this ever loaded .44 Magnums (Henry Big Boy) with WST ?

There is no data for it that I can find. Apparently, some like it for various other pistol rounds.
They say it works about like Bullseye and for the most part burns cleanly.

That's a pretty fast powder. Probably more suited to 45 acp.

Thank you, Squatch, for that second link to Castboolits.

I am going to try the 7.0 grain load in my .44 Magnum cases.

Been using 20 grains of 4227. Works fine.
